The 1000# Project kicks off tonight on the third floor of the Caterpillar Visitors Center at 110 SW Washington St. in Peoria, as part of Senator Weaver’s second annual Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference, which has a 5:00 p.m. check-in and a 5:30 p.m. start time.
From 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., five diverse leaders and their teams will be announcing five projects to improve our city, as part of The 1000# Project. A new community initiative – The 1000# Project – is challenging our young leaders to use “their unique skills to impact the greatest needs of the community by applying 1000# of effort to get 1,000,000# of results.”
The Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference will offer attendees the opportunity to network with leaders in business, education, and numerous other fields, and serve as a resource for current and future professionals in all industries.
The Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference will feature a panel of Peoria’s strongest entrepreneurs, including:
